Scoring
Count how many you have of each letter. Then see what it says about your serving style.
Mostly A’s: Lion
Leading the way. You’re right out front, taking charge and making things happen. You make quick decisions and can solve problems. You’re a strong force on a summer missions trip or youth group outreach. Just be sure to look out for others. Be patient with those who are less decisive or shy. Show empathy toward team members and help everyone on your team find a way to minister.
Mostly B’s: Seal
Adding joy and laughter. Your optimism and enthusiasm make even difficult tasks more fun. You find it easy to give your testimony in front of a group or go door to door inviting people to church. Your youth group is passing out tracts at the fair or on the beach—no problem. Talking to others and making friends come easily. You need to be careful to follow through on all you sign up to do, though. Sometimes your enthusiasm causes you to try to do more than you can. Think before you act and before you commit yourself to do too much. Pick a few activities and do them well.
Mostly C’s: Panda
Lending consistency and support. When others get down, you’re there with a word of encouragement. You’re a good listener and like to build relationships. This gives you lots of opportunities to share your faith, especially one on one. Sometimes your heart gets you into trouble, though. At times, people fool you because you tend to think the best of everyone. You like things to stay the same. It takes a while for you to warm up to a new idea. But don’t be afraid to try new ministries. You’ll be a valuable member of a team that reaches out to shut-ins or inmates. Let your heart lead you to those who hurt, but temper your generous spirit with common sense.
Mostly D’s: Turtle
Tending to details and organizational tasks. You’re orderly and precise. You’re disciplined and follow through on your commitments. Sometimes you don’t have patience for those who seem unorganized or impulsive. Your skills can help by making sure the little forgotten things get done. Don’t be offended when others criticize you. You aren’t very open about your feelings, and others may not know you well. You often work alone behind the scenes, but you’re every bit as important as those in the limelight.
God made each of us with our own personalities. He uses all the different personalities to work together to accomplish His will. Imagine you’re planning a large youth rally. The “A” teens will take charge and jump right in to planning. The “B” teens will be up front providing entertaining skits and songs. The “C” teens will invite those who are hurting and will help them feel comfortable at the rally. The “D” teens will make sure everything is planned and will work out. The rally is a success, because each teen does what she is best at. Take a look at your strengths and ask yourself how you can use them for God.
