Spittin' Image!

In honor of Mother's Day, we challenged Brio readers to submit photos of themselves and their moms if they shared a physical resemblance. Wow! There are a lot of look-alike Mom/Daughter duos reading Brio! The top 10 look-alikes received a copy of Susie Shellenberger's book Closer.

Beeson"My mom and I have always been best friends. Everyone tells us that we look just like sisters and that I'm a spittin' image of her." --Sara Beeson, 21, and her mom, Laura, from Indianapolis

Garrity"I've been called my sister's mom, my father's wife, my mom's twin -- and my favorite -- my sister's grandmother. While this used to frustrate me, I'm now proud to share such a close physical resemblance with my mom. She's a selfless, incredibly strong Christian!" --Sarah Garrity, 17, and her mom, Becky, from Louisville, Ky.

Walden "My mom holds me when I cry, gives me advice when I'm confused and shows tough love by telling me the truth even when I don't want to hear it. She's my best friend." --Rachel Walden, 17, and her mom, Marty, from Greensboro, N.C.

Rawn "My mom and I share each other's clothes and shoes. We're asked quite often if we're sisters." --Rebekah Rawn, 14, and her mom, Susan, from Knoxville, Tenn.

Andrews "My parents are missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators, and we've lived overseas for as long as I've been alive. I graduated from an international high school in Papua New Guinea last year, and I'm almost through with my first year at Biola University. Mom and I enjoy watching chick flicks, baking and sewing together. People say that even our voices are identical on the phone!" --Claire Andrews, 18, and her mom, Beth, from Arlington, Texas

Bearden"I love and respect my mom and am proud to be compared to her in action and appearance. I depend on her for strength to propel me through the day." --Rebekah Bearden, 17, and her mom, Gay, from Evans, Ga.

Miller"I'm so thankful that God gave me such a caring mother. We shop, watch movies and do lots of other girl things together." --Rachel Miller, 19, and her mom, Sharon, from Fairview Heights, Ill.

Rudloff"My mom has home-schooled me since I was in the fourth grade. I think it's cool that she's my teacher. We like to bake and shop together." --Braiden Rudloff, 14, and her mom, Heidi, from Hoschton, Ga.

Mowers "I live in South Africa. My dad is the missionary pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Table View, a suburb of Cape Town. Last year I received a subscription to Brio from our sending church. I love it! My mom and I do quite a bit together." --Rachel Mowers, 13, and her mom, Barbara, from Cape Town, South Africa

Arguelles "My mom and I look alike, but we have different personalities. She's outgoing, and I'm reserved. Mom is a single parent, and we're very close. We talk about everything, and whenever I have a problem, she's here for me." - -Ariella Arguelles, 15, and her mom, AnnMarie, from Houston, Texas
