A Shy Girl’s Guide to Making Friends
1. Pray specifically for God to give you a friend.
2. Write a note asking about the homework assignment.
3. Work up the courage to speak in the hallway.
4. Pick a cafeteria seat close to someone you want to know.
5. The next day, actually sit with those you want to befriend and offer to share your food.
6. Practice what to say when you phone to ask about tomorrow’s test.
7. Make the phone call . . .
8. Continue praying for your friend . . .
9. Repeat steps 3, 5, and 7 AGAIN!!
10. What, oh what happens now? Sorry we have to go now, the rest is up to you. Finish with your own ideas
