Join Brio's partnership with Compassion International
Hi, Brio Sis!
I'm excited you're checking out the information on sponsoring a child through Compassion International. I can honestly tell you that sponsoring a child (even for just one year) will change his or her life FOREVER! I know, because I've done it in the past, and I'm doing it right now.
Join with Brio in adopting an entire village in Guatemala! Because we’re going to Guatemala on our 2009 Brio missions trip, you’ll actually get to meet your sponsored child! Our village is huge! It’s Guatemala City!
Some of you might be thinking, I'd LOVE to sponsor a child, but I don't have a fulltime job! And $32 a month is like a million dollars to me. Hey, I hear you. And I appreciate your concerns. Yes, $32 a month is a lot, but we're hoping you won't try to tackle this on your own. We're hoping you'll want to sponsor a child so badly, that you'll enlist your Sunday school class or your youth group or your family or others to pitch in and help you support a child for one year.
I hope you can find a group of friends from church, etc. who will help you sponsor a child. When you do that, you're actually helping to change a life FOREVER. It's truly amazing. If you got five friends to help you, (that's a total of six of you), you'd only have to spend around $5.33 a month to sponsor a child for a year. That's do-able.
At least please pray about it, OK?
